How it Started

Shortly after my wife and I moved to Seabrook Island, I was asked to join the Board of Directors of our regime. I soon learned that it was not being run like a business. I had a friend who served on the Board of anther regime and he had the same feelings. At the urging of our wives we decided to start a property management company dedicated to the ideal that a regime was a business and should be run like one.

In 2001 we put together a business plan with the following goals:

  • Run a regime like a business
  • Be on regime property two to three times a week
  • Check all non –contract work before paying the vendor
  • Create separate bank accounts and provide for easy monitoring by the Board
  • Create a bidding process that provides quality workmanship at reasonable prices for the regime
  • Interact with the POA and other governmental agencies on behalf of the regime
  • Conduct regime business in a timely and efficient manner
  • Be available to all members of the association in a timely manner concerning regime issues
  • Create a 24/7 emergency system for owners to use
